The National Bartender Competition for the Negombo region, organized by the Sri Lanka Hospitality Graduates Association (SLHGA), took place at Club Hotel Dolphin on 6th June 2023. The event highlighted bartenders’ remarkable talent and creativity across the region, and Club Hotel Dolphin under Browns Hotels and Resorts produced three outstanding winners.

Madumal Appuhamy showcased his mastery of flair bartending and secured the title of Flaring Winner for the Negombo region. Madumal’s captivating flair techniques, seamless transitions, and captivating showmanship dazzled the audience and judges alike. His ability to entertain while skillfully mixing mesmerizing cocktails earned him applause and accolades.
Sandeep Sandaruwan claimed the coveted title of Classic Winner for the Negombo region. Sandeep impressed the judges and spectators, earning him well-deserved recognition as the top-class bartender under Classic Category.
Furthermore, Suresh Fernando, yet another skilled Club Hotel Dolphin’s bartending team member, achieved the esteemed position of Flaring First Runner-up in the Negombo region. Suresh’s precision, style, and ability to engage and entertain the crowd while concocting innovative drinks set him apart.
