World Tourism Day 2024

In celebration of World Tourism Day 2024, Ayugiri Ayurveda Wellness Resort Sigiriya organized a tree planting program, with staff actively participating to enhance the natural environment. The initiative focused on sustainability and the long-term preservation of the local ecosystem, reinforcing the resort’s commitment to eco-friendly tourism and environmental stewardship.

Kumbuk and Mee trees planting initiative

During her stay at Ayugiri Ayurveda Wellness Resort Sigiriya, U.S. Ambassador to Sri Lanka, Julie J. Chung, planted Kumbuk trees within the hotel premises as part of the resort’s ongoing Kumbuk and Mee tree planting initiative. Her contribution supports the resort’s commitment to enhancing biodiversity and promoting sustainable environmental practices on its grounds.

World Nature Conservation Day 2024

Ayugiri Ayurveda Wellness Resort Sigiriya proudly led a cleanup campaign on World Nature Conservation Day 2024 at the Pidurangala road area. With the staff the initiative aimed to preserve the natural beauty surrounding Sigiriya, promote environmental stewardship, and raise awareness of the importance of keeping our landscapes free from waste and pollution.
